Fancy something truly special and unique? Well here goes! Join us for a beautiful and playful 22km paddle along the River Severn. This stretch of river has lots of fun riffles (flowy water) to practise your SUP skills. We’ll paddle under stunning steel bridges and alongside the train line through pretty countryside. Listening out for the toot of the steam train and watching from the water as it scoots by. It’s really rather magical.
We’ll stop at a riverside cafe for homemade cake or ice cream, before finishing up in the pretty riverside town of Bewdley. There’s a 10 minute portage by foot to the Severn Valley Railway, where we will pack up our boards and hop on to a steam train for a return journey along the award winning, Severn Valley Railway. First established in 1862.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
- Where adverse wether conditions are the deciding factor for the cancellation of your trip by PBA you will be given 24 hours notice. Please check your emails regularly (including spam).
- If your booking is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions you will be given a selection of dates to rebook within the current season. Or a 12-month credit note will be issued.
If the booking is cancelled by your party:
- 72 hours+ Your booking will be fully transferable within the current season or a 12 month credit note will be issued.
- Less than 48 hours notice your booking will not be transferred. IF we are able to fill your place from a wait list you will be issues a 12 month credit note.
PADDLER SUITABILITY
- Be able to paddle 2 hours at a time without stopping.
- Be able to paddle roughly in a straight line.
- Be able to manoeuvre the board left to right and stop efficiently.
- Be able to get yourself back on your board. ‘Self Rescue’.
- Have enough fitness to carry your board to the station. A 10 minute walk.
OWN KIT REQUIREMENTS
- Recognised branded touring board, 11ft or 12ft. Paddle, recognised branded buoyancy aid, quick release belt, leash, dry bag, helmet.
- PLEASE NOTE, if your kit does not meet our criteria on the day you will be required to hire our own, or forfeit the trip with no option for a refund. Therefor we suggest you email us to check your kit is suitable.
MINIMUM 6 paddlers to run the trip.
