This stunning tour is part of our summer BIG SUP day paddle tours. For one date only you can join us on a truly epic journey we’ll covering those extra miles that only long summer days allow.
If you’ve been hankering after the opportunity to test your paddle endurance. If you love being outdoors in the summer months. If you always finish a paddle wishing it lasted longer. These tours are for you!
The paddle is around 30 km long. That’s 10km longer than our longest offered paddle to date. And provide a tour along a stretch of river that we have yet to offer. We estimate a paddle time of around 6 hours depending on flow rates and how often we decide to stop for snacks and swimming.
NOTE: Own Kit required. Although we do have a few hire sets available. Pop us an email or WhatsApp to book your hire kit.
You will

- Enjoy a journey from Hay-on-Wye to Preston-on-Wye. Aprox 30km.
- Enjoy a hot beverage and gooey homemade flapjacks.
- Receive a safety briefing along with your board, paddle, buoyancy aid and helmet.

- Wetsuit can be hired on booking. £10.00pp.
- You will be added to a WhatsApp group a few days prior to arrange the car shuttle. NOTIFY us via email if you do not use WhatsApp.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- Where adverse weather conditions are the deciding factor for the cancellation of your trip by PBA you will be given 24 hours notice. Please check your emails regularly (including spam).
- If your booking is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions you will be given a selection of dates to rebook within the current season. Or a 12-month credit note will be issued.
If the booking is cancelled by your party:
- 72 hours+ Your booking will be fully transferable within the current season or a 12 month credit note will be issued.
- Less than 48 hours notice your booking will not be transferred. IF we are able to fill your place from a wait list you will be issues a 12 month credit note.
PADDLER SUITABILITY
- Be able to paddle 2-3 hours at a time without stopping.
- Be able to paddle in a straight line.
- Be able to manoeuvre the board left to right and stop efficiently in flowing water.
- Be able to get yourself back on your board. ‘Self Rescue’.
OWN KIT REQUIREMENTS
- Recognised branded touring board, must be 11ft or 12ft. Paddle, recognised branded buoyancy aid, HELMET, leash, dry bag, RIVER FIN.
- PLEASE NOTE, if your kit does not meet our criteria on the day you will be required to hire our own, or forfeit the trip with no option for a refund. Therefor we suggest you email us to check your kit is suitable.
MINIMUM 6 paddlers to run the trip.
