We’ve lined up a lesser paddled route to give you a taste of something different, starting at Spade Oka to make the most of the pretty countryside and finishing below Windsor Castle with lesser known smaller waterways.
Your backdrop for this paddle are opulent historic buildings such as Clivedon Estate and of course Windsor Castle. Nestled amongst pretty woodlands, meadows, locks and lesser used waterways such as the Jubilee River. There really are so many historical sites to note, Mary Magdalene Church built in the 12C, Eton Dorney site of the 2012 Olympic rowing events and so many more.
This is a 20(ish)km paddle. The day will be broken up with plenty of stops and with two guides the pace of the paddle can be matched to suit a diverse group. There will be a short car shuttle amongst the group to bring the start and end paddle points together.
NOTE: this is an OWN KIT paddle. You must have a 12 or 14 ft touring board, paddle and buoyancy aid. Along with canal and river licence or Paddle UK membership. You can buy a 1 day licence for just 6.00. IF YOU WANT TO BOOK BUT DON’T HAVE KIT EMAIL US: info@paddleboardingadventures.co.uk
